Great way to learn strategy for the game

This is really a game to prep you for playing the real thing, it drills you on the first two cars and the dealers one card, the premise being you can handle that from there in a Casino. I'm not qualified to comment on the theory of what to do, but I like the way it only drills you on the important stuff, who cars what the cards actually were, it I s teaching you how to win (or a least not lose so much) money. Off to the casino!
Splitting 2's against 2-7 and 4's against the 6 is part of the widely accepted blackjack basic strategy chart, which brings the house advantage to about .5% when used strictly and if the other players at the table aren't making stupid plays.
Now, for the app... It works well, does exactly what it claims to do, and is great for those looking to memorize the simple odds chart. My only real complaint is that it only has you pick the proper play for the hand shown, and moves on to the next. I would like an option to bet and actually finish the hand, it would help to develop other skills like proper waging (if the app uses full decks and the decks aren't "shuffled" after each hand), and also builds the patience you need to keep standing on hands like 13/d4 when it doesn't work out several times in a row, which could deter a novice from using this system. Overall, this is a good app for both the inexperienced and experienced players looking to sharpen their skills.
